Le 12 Vette del VCO: an adventure for all mountain lovers
An initiative by CAI Pallanza to discover the wonders of Verbano Cusio Ossola
The CAI Pallanza offers an exciting initiative open to all, members and non-members: Le didici vette VCO. The objective is to reach 12 peaks, chosen from a list of 30 proposals, within 12 months, approximately one per month.
Why participate?
- Discover the beauty of Verbano Cusio Ossola: The 30 selected peaks offer a variety of panoramas and landscapes that best represent the beauty of our territory.
- Promote frequenting the mountains: The initiative aims to encourage hiking and the discovery of the mountain paths of the VCO.
- Combining the passion for the mountains in a friendly context: “The 12 Peaks of the VCO” is not a competition, but an opportunity to share your passion for the mountains with other members and supporters of the CAI Pallanza.
- Face a personal challenge: Reaching 12 peaks in a year represents a stimulating goal for those who love the mountains and the challenge.
How to participate?
- Choose your peaks: Consult the list of 30 peaks available on the website www.ledodicivettedelvco.it and choose the 12 you want to climb.
- Register: Fill out the registration form on the site, entering your personal details and the CAI section you belong to (if you are a member).
- Prepare your ascent: Reach the peaks you have chosen and take a summit photo of yourself and the cross or summit marker.
- Validate your climbs: Upload the summit photo to the website www.ledodicivettedelvco.it.
- Fill out your summit book: tell your experiences and emotions to those who will follow you.
- Collect your gadget: Upon reaching the 12 photo-certified peaks, within 12 months of first registration, you will receive a free gadget from CAI Pallanza.
